Go online and Google “parenting discussion boards.” Click on one or two of the many sites that come up and see what parents are talking about. What issues seem to concern them most? Do these parents appear to have a sense of the issues addressed by developmental psychologists? Does the advice that parents share with one another seem to be based on the science of psychology?

Once you have composed your response, take the time to read and respond to at least two other student posts. Your response should be at least 50-100 words in length and contain substantial input that furthers the class discussion
